This song is about humanity summoning a spirit that will help us all reset the world to a much kinder, reasonable world... the only problem is that the way this spirit approaches this "reset" is with burning it all to the ground.
lyrics
We can't outrun the ending to mortality,
were closer to the end than we know
The deviation subtle as we drift from the bubble
Slowly chipping away at all the looping at play
We're glistening with nitro-glycerin
A kindling in batches, A match head that catches
Always one step away from burning it to the ground
The "Hero's Dream" - forever a tyrannical instrument
used to make our people bleed
The epitome of entropy, the enemy's supremacy
Administer the opiate to keep the people listening
We're glistening with nitro-glycerin
A kindling in batches, A match head that catches
Meet our leader (Death) the fire-eater (lies)
Let's burn the dreamer's vision straight to the ground
One stroke,
Burn all of this
From finger tips, to apocalypse
Then here’s for burn,
The fire we start,
And here’s for the pain
that singes the heart
Toast to the madness, the truth, the thrall, the worst of it all...
Then here’s for ash,
Beginning anew,
Here's for the devil
And steeling his due
Toast to the madness, the truth, the thrall the worst of it all...
From spark to the field
The ember embrace
Never will yield
She's leaving no trace
Miles of smoke
Death in the air
How violent we choke
No-one worthy to spare
We
Are
Glistening
With nitro-glycerin
The vision reset
with a charred silhouette
A gift to the fake king
Demagogue in the making
Thinning the coffers
Filling the coffins
Reflections of Pompeii inside idyllic apartments
We're glistening with nitro-glycerin
A kindling in batches, A match head that catches
Meet our leader (Death) the fire-eater (lies)
We're clawing and choking on the tail
One stroke,
Burn all of this
From finger tips, to apocalypse
Then here’s for burn,
The fire we start,
And here’s for the pain
that singes the heart
Toast to the madness, the truth, the thrall, the worst of it all...
Then here’s for ash,
Beginning anew,
Here's for the devil
And steeling his due
Toast to the madness, the truth, the thrall the worst of it all..

Founded in 2017, Chaos Over Cosmos delivers Sci-Fi progressive metal to the lovely people of the world.

Death metal/deathcore hybridization done correct! All the atmospheric passages and samples feel right in place, with great sound. Instrumentation doesn't lack as well, but the vocals could've been a little less upfront. 8.5/10 liltito
Californian quartet defining themselves as Sci-Fi black metal, maybe due to cosmic and interstellar topics, sounding like blackened death metal too ("The Maw"). It's a well-balanced melodic black metal album, with some fast-paced tracks and nice rhythmic transitions reminding me of Swiss band Celtic Frost (e.g. Terminal Odyssey). In other words not overly dominated by drum speed and also not sounding as extreme or as raw as some BM can be. sachavonkarl74
